Summer Camp 2024

 

Dates:

June 28 - August 30, 2024

 

Hours:

9 am - 4 pm

 

Before & After Camp (by request):  

8-9 am and 4-6 pm at $10/hour 

 

Ages: 

7 - 12

(exceptions for siblings, prior registrants)

Kids Camp: ages 7-9

Youth Camp: ages 10-12

 

We have also created a Tri-Cities camp specifically for kids ages 6-7.

 

 

Camp Locations: 

 

 

Tri-Cities North- Out-trips include White Pine Beach, Rocky Point, Westhill Park, Spani Pool, Poirier Pool, Zone Bowling, the Coquitlam City Centre Aquatic Complex, Blue Mountain Park Pool, playgrounds, parks, and more. We will go to places like Crash Crawly's when heavy rain or wildfire smoke is forecast. 

 

Tri-Cities East- Out-trips include the Coquitlam River, Gates Park, the Port Coquitlam Community Centre Pool, Momentum, the Coquitlam City Centre Aquatic Complex, Hyde Creek Pool, Centennial Pool, Robert Hope Park Pool, playgrounds, and more. We will go to places like Jungle Jac's and Crash Crawly's when heavy rain or wildfire smoke is forecast.

 

Tri-Cities West- Out-trips include Spani Pool, Zone Bowling, Rocky Point, Westhill Park Pool, the Coquitlam City Centre Aquatic Complex, Blue Mountain Park Pool, Poirier Pool, playgrounds, parks, and more. We will go to places like Crash Crawly's when heavy rain or wildfire smoke is forecast.

 

Tri-Cities Kids (ages 6-7 only)- Out-trips include Jungle Jac's, Crash Crawly's, Zone Bowling, Mackin Park, Blue Mountain Park Wading Pool and Waterpark, Routley Park Wading Pool, and more. This camp is from 10-4 pm (with before and after care available by request). 

 

Burnaby North- Out-trips include Barnet Marine Park Beach, Kensington Park Pool, Confederation Park, and more. We will go to places such as Eileen Dailly Pool or Crash Crawly's when heavy rain or wildfire smoke is forecast. 

 

New Westminster and Burnaby- Out-trips include Queen's Park, Təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic Centre, Robert Burnaby Park Pool, Moody Park Pool, Hume Park Pool, MacPherson Pool, Burnaby Village Museum, Deer Lake, Edmonds Pool, and Crash Crawly's. Our New West/Burnaby camp is only available from August 12-16 from 9-4 pm in 2024. 

 

 

The schedule is sent the Friday before the week you are registered for. We meet at (or near) the out-trip of the day.

Activities:

Swimming, games, sports, arts and crafts, playground games, parachute games, forest exploration, sand play, table games, talent shows, and more based on the interests of each camper. Beach out-trips at Tri-Cities North and Burnaby North will also include kayaking, giant floaties, and boating. Our Tri-Cities North camp also includes paddleboarding.

 

Philosophy:

Our non-profit camps aim to spend as much time outdoors and active in nature as possible. When heavy rain or wildfire smoke is forecast, we go to indoor pools or places such as Crash Crawly's, Jungle Jac's, and Zone Bowling. We are participant-centred and led by the interests of each camper. We strive to create a community of kindness, respect, and connection.

 

 

Rates:

$50/Day or $250/Week

(July 2-5, Aug. 6-9: $200/Week)

 

Cancellation Policy: A full refund is provided for any dates cancelled or missed. We appreciate as much notice as possible so that other kids can come to camp. Payment isn't due by e-transfer to info@rfcamps.com until two weeks before your camp week begins.
